Have you found a game that comes to your dreams? Well, I found one, and it’s a board game. We bought this last week, and we have been playing like two crazy people it! Like, the first Saturday we played like 5-7 hours and next day about 13 hours. Yes, we had a weekend off and nothing to do. And even the playing times will say that we love this game.
The idea in the game is straightforward. It’s a deck building game, so of course, you need to build the best deck you can. I only took photos from the first game so you won’t get any spoilers and doesn’t ruin the surprise what will come in the next seven games. And I need to say before I continue with the review, this is just a casual “how I liked it” and not how to play it. There are many different reviews on the internet about this game with the rules, so you should check them out!
Okay, as I said, there is seven different “levels” and every time you add a game to it, it gets a lot harder. We have played everything already, and oh boy, it gets hard if you get the wrong cards at the start of the game. The last one is intense, and you will need to work together to beat Voldemort!
So, deck building game. Get the best cards to your character, beat all the villains and try not to lose any locations. Sounds easy enough, am I right? But after adding all the damage that the dark cards and villains do, it’s not that easy anymore. You need to think so much about should I get that card or this one? How about the lighting power or hearts? Anything to discard? In every move, you need to think about the next step already, and at the same time try to not get stunned or get your gaming pal stunned.
With all that happening, it’s a fantastic game to play with your friends. Or just two people, what we have been doing. It’s fun, it has one expansion, and hopefully more coming. Overall, I do enjoy the game, and I can’t wait to spent more time with it. But now I will play the game and enjoy my last free day!
