Have you noticed that I’m giving movie and series recommendations all the time? Well, I decided to make this a series once in a month or every couple months. These shows can be old or new ones, but they are something that I have been enjoying a lot, and I want everyone to see them. All that I have listed in this post is from January to March. I’m sure that some of these series has been mentioned before, but I just want to remind everyone because there must be a new season. The What? Part is from IMDb.
The Greatest Showman
What? Celebrates the birth of show business, and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
Why? I’m sure that you know why you should see The Greatest Showman. Might be the most hyped movie of the year! The story in this movie is incredible, powerful and I still can’t stop listening to the soundtrack! I can only say good things about this movie, and I recommend everyone to go and see it. Even if you hate musicals, see this.
What? A group of friends who meet regularly for game nights finds themselves entangled in a real-life mystery.
Why? Oh my god, this movie. I can’t even remember when was the last time I laughed so much in a movie theater! We rarely go and see a comedy, because usually, they have the same idea. Tell a couple jokes, haha. Okay, I do watch them, but I don’t like paying to go to see a comedy. After seeing the trailer, I hoped that Game Night would be different, and it was. I was laughing so much!
What? When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny.
Why? I might have a little crush on Gal Gadot. But that’s about that! Lately, superhero movies have been boring to watch. It’s all about the guns and muscles and technology, so I didn’t want to see this. Well, when it came to Netflix, I saw it. Yesterday! And I was pleasantly surprised. There was storytelling, action without million guns, slow motions, all that I want from a superhero movie. It’s a little different, and I loved it.
What? A contemporary prequel to Psycho, giving a portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years, and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is.
Why? Season 4 just released in Finnish Netflix and oh my god that was intense! I’m always recommending Bates Motel, but now I’m telling everyone that they NEED to see it. I’m not going to say much about this because I don’t want to give anything away. Just watch it.
What? Home bakers with a terrible track record take a crack at recreating edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize. It’s part reality contest, part hot mess.
Why? I’m sure that you have seen those Pinterest fail baking photos, am I right? Well, this is a tv show about that. I was cry-laughing so hard at some bakings that they did! But I must say, I can’t do any better than everyone in this show. Okay, I remember to put flour on the cake batter.
Santa Clarita Diet
What? Sheila and Joel are married real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. When Sheila dies, their lives take a dark turn.
Why? Season two is here! If you hear about Santa Clarita Diet, you might think that it’s a horror show. Well, you are wrong. There are some blood and killing, but it’s not a full-on horror, but comedy. The Hammonds family and everyone around them is just flipping amazing, and the actors and actresses connect so well. Such a fun show and I can’t wait until season 3.
